An Overcast Pittsburgh Morning from the West End Bridge

Good morning, everyone! This morning's blog post comes to you from the West End Bridge in downtown Pittsburgh. I was out & about early yesterday morning, hoping I could catch a sunrise, but unfortunately the gloomy cloud cover never parted, so I didn't get what I originally set out to capture. As the old saying goes, "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade." So, I still tried to make the most of my photo outing. Below are a two shots that I still managed to capture while out on the bridge. In the top photo, you'll see quite a few dark specs resting in the Ohio River. These are actually flocks of seagulls hanging out in the river. I was very surprised to see seagulls in Pittsburgh (especially in the winter!), but they were there. (Maybe they're lost? I just don't know). Well, at any rate, enjoy the photos, and as always, thank you for stopping by!
